QUARTERS

QUARTERS

(Bibliography: Browning, A.W.; Hazeltine, J.W.)

641 — 1796. First year of issue; the denomination does not ap-
pear on the coin. Fine and scarce. Lists at $90.00

642 — 1804. None minted between 1797 - 1803; 25c on re-
verse. A very desirable specimen with considerable
lustre, such a coin is difficult to obtain. It is very fine
plus. Worth at least $125.00

643 — 1 805. A choice coin, barely circulated. $50.00

644 — 1806 over 5. An uncirculated beauty with clear over-
date. A $100.00 item.

645 — 1 806. Perfect date. A gem. Uncirculated. $50.00
646' — 1807. Uncirculated, very scarce. $65.00

647 — 1 8 1 5. None minted 1 808 - 1814. Uncirculated with bril-
liant surfaces. There are a few tiny obverse nicks. Really
a coin worth while examining. $40.00

648 — — 1818. Uncirculated. Choice. $20.00

649 — 1 8 1 9. Large 9, uncirculated. $22.50

650 — 1819. Small 9, uncirculated. $22.50

651 — 1820. Large O. Extremely fine, tiny edge dents. $20.00

(Note: We urge you to take advantage of our offer fo submit lots for examination.)

652 — 1820. Small O. But for a weak spot on eagles head this
is an uncirculated coin with a brilliant obverse. Scarce.
$27.50

653 — 1821. A brilliant proof — like example; there is a scratch
over Liberty's crown and an edge file mark. $17.50

654 — 1822. Extremely fine. $22.50

DOLLARS — HALF DOLLARS

886— 1850-0. Very fine. $1 1.00

887 — 1853. Uncirculated. I consider this to be a highly under-
rated coin. There is little doubt that the 1853 is just
about as scarce as the 1851 which lists at $225.00.
While this dollar is not yet ready for such a price it
should bring several times its list. $100.00 would be
a conservative estimate.

INCIDENTALLY, EARLY BIDDERS are
appreciated — and of course — they get pref-
erence in case of tie bids. It does make a
difference!

GETTING READY for big doings this
Spring and Summer — first a trip east to
visit — and pick up a few convention con-
signments— although some are already in
and others enroute.

CENTRAL STATES CONVENTION in
Chicago on schedule for May 1-2-3. See
you there.

IF YOU WANT to be sure your coins will
be offered in the big ANA Auction — NOW
is the time to write — and I do mean NOW!

WE ARE PLANNING only 2 public ses-
sions so space will be limited. Don't be too
late — get terms and particulars, at once.

DALLAS, TEXAS — the heart of the oil
and cattle country is welcoming the ANA
Convention for the first time. Collectors are
anxious that all features of the meeting go
over BIG — like everything else in this giant
state (forgive me California Chamber of
Commerce).

YOUR COINS will bring excellent results
if we can list them in this big sale — so con-
tact us without delay.

DO NOT SEND ANY COINS until you
write us and receive our reply. This is im-
portant and will save a lot of unnecessary
shipping and expense.

A ( Waiting to hear from you ) K.
